Perfect for one up front away from home - arsenal away we were under the cosh, put the ball down the channel and Sakho out muscles centre half and takes all the pressure off.
Love Sakho. AC has a lot of work to do to get a start.

What I want, Alex, is for you to come out after an UNBELIEVABLE win, and say just that. Not go with, "we were good, BUT..." Or "this was an issue, BUT..."

It's his workmates and tracking back over 90 mins that's brings so much to the team.
You know today was a turning point regarding Andy Carroll...no desperation to get him on the pitch like before...like he was the be all and end all.
Great squad depth now

He suits our system and even though many of his goals may not be spectacular, he has a knack of getting on the end of things. I don't want a prima dona superstar or an incredible striker of the ball who can't be bothered to work hard.
Massive player for us and pleased to see Bilic recognises the value of him doesn't sub him off.

Alex tries far too hard to be intellectually controversial and that results in him talking absolute shit. We're all entitled to an opinion but how can one person get things wrong so many times?
Carroll by far the superior player compared to Sakho? Really? I like Carroll and he's a great asset but Sakho has pretty much everything to his game and his work rate is astonishing.
Plus the absolute gem of criticising the signing of Payet because of the price we paid for a 28-year old. £11m was an incredible bargain. Enjoy the moment.

I love Sakho and I think he is quality, and a GREAT striker who will score us goals. But I would agree with Alex in saying that he's not a TOP CLASS striker. Cos if you said he was, then you'd be putting him in the same bracket as Aguero for example, which he simple is not. I don't see how you can call Alex wrong on that statement, even with C&B specs on!

I'm not disputing some of his comments Buster. My issue is why start with a negative! He clearly is a top class striker. He's absolutely class. Goals, work rate, attitude. Unreal attributes. He walks into the majority of teams in this league.
Carroll is also class, when fit, but Sakho is on another level, and gives the team much, much more.
He's first choice on ability, not by deserving it on performances. That's just an added reason.
A top class striker indeed. £3.5m. How much is he worth now? £20m+ without a doubt.
